What is your Visual Ability?

Visual Acuity

How well your eyes are able to Perceive the Image of an object - Can be understood if we can make out what all information's generally our eyes suppose to collect when One Image is creating on Retina.

Our eyes are able to gather information's like,- Size & Shape, Color & Darkness. Mainly these 3 things we are using to evaluate one objects distance, heaviness, Solidity and many more.

Visual Acuity can be defined as a measure of the resolving power of the eye.

In a conventional clinical practice we are evaluating the ability to Identify the Size & Shape of an object.
More appropriately - We are recording how smaller size of letters one person can identify                                                                  from a particular test distance.

But we can also check one's ability to judge the color and Difference between the  Darkness of  two Colors.

So it is clear that we can check one's Visual Acuity properly If we check his ability,-
  1. To Perceive the Size & Shape - Form Sense
  2. To Perceive the Color - Color sense
  3. To Perceive the Difference between the darkness of  two colors - Contrast Sense

Normal Vision:
There is a Standard limit below which any individuals vision can not be considered as Normal Vision.
That is-

When Considered The Form Sense  it is 6/6 or 20/20.
Generally while speaking  we  are using the term 6/6 or 20/20 But what does it Indicates?

Here The Numerator 6 is the Letter Size and The Denominator 6 is the Test Distance

6/6 is considered in Meter & 20/20 is considered when the Unit is Feet.

More appropriately we can define that  One person with normal visual ability can read the letter size 6 from a test distance of 6 meter.

When Considered The Color sense it is
